Comment on the grading done by the professor in your opinion?
I think the grading was quite moderate.
What was the Attendance Policy?
Prof does consider the regular attendance and attendance holds some weightage of the overall marking scheme.

None
This Course evaluation comprises of?
Assignments, Quizzes, Mid Sem, End Sem
1-2 Assignments+ Quizzes+ Attendance+Mid Sem (50%) End Sem (50%)
What are the topics covered in the course?
Counting of electrons(18 e rule), Ligand Substitution Reactions, Oxidative addition, Reductive elimination, Migratory insertion and elimination reactions, alpha and beta abstraction, 4 center reactions, [2+2] reactions, External attack by a ligand and reductive coupling, Hydrogenation reaction (monohydride and dihydride catalysts), Carbonylation reactions (Monsanto acetic acid, hydroformylation, hydrocyanation, hydrocarboxylation), Oxidative Cyclisation, Coupling reactions and role of ligand, Pd catalysed transformations.
How were the Lectures for this course?
The professor made the lectures quite interesting. Every sort of possible example was discussed during the lectures and there were intermittent Q/A rounds too so as to involve everyone present in the class. I personally enjoyed learning this course since it involved the basic principles required for any higher level related research.
How were the Exams for this course?
I would say all the exams were moderate and most of the things were either from the class lectures or from the books mentioned in the reference section.
How are the Assignments & Projects for this course?
Assignments require you to read out of the class notes. In my opinion assignments given were helpful in developing a wide perspective regarding the course content.
Any tips for the junta to perform well in the course?
Class notes and lecture slides will do good but previous year question papers will be of much help. Do consider them!
