Grading is fairly lenient, helps you to analyze your efforts in the course.
What was the Attendance Policy?
Compulsory for each experiment. If someone is not able to perform an experiment on the assigned date, then he/she have to complete it in the make-up lab provided they have genuine reasons to skip the originally scheduled experiment.

This Course evaluation comprises of?
A final viva and quiz for the End-Sem evaluation
You will be monitored during each experiment. The way you do the experiment and handle the apparatus affect your grades. Each experiment have a certain weightage and the final quiz for 20-30 marks and Viva for 5 marks was taken.
What are the topics covered in the course?
Various Separation Techniques ( Fractional Distillation, Paper Chromatography, Soxhlet extractor, TLC, Solvent Extraction, etc.)
How were the Lab experiments for this course?
We learned to handle various apparatus used in separation methods. TAs were quite supportive but they expected us to study the experiment before hand so that we were familiar with the basic concepts before going into the details.
How were the Exams for this course?
Quizzes and vivas were conducted. It required the basic understanding of concepts and their applications. Each and every experiment should be read thoroughly.
How are the Assignments & Projects for this course?
There were no such assignments and projects. Only the journals with proper diagrams need to be completed and submitted before the next experiment.
Any tips for the junta to perform well in the course?
Be sure, you know the experiments very well and have background information before you enter the lab. Take note of each and every step and the explanations provided by the TAs. These whats and whys will be very helpful during the exams and you can easily score decent grades.
